RESOURCES FOR StEER 2021 HAITI EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE
-
Disclaimer: StEER created this workflow quickly to respond to a need for data and a security setting/access that is prohibitive for those living outside the area. Creole translations were conducted quickly with limited time for review and refinement, forgive any inaccuracies, particularly in engineering terms normally communicated in French or English. Our goal was to create a Creole App that gave affected communities (who may not speak French) greater agency through a self-reporting process. Affected communities collect photo and basic site information; volunteers engineers assign the overall damage rating to complete the assessment.
NOTE: This is preliminary data streaming live and and has not yet been quality controlled. This is not intended for use in tagging or other commercial applications.
ANNOUNCEMENT: StEER's Preliminary Virtual Reconnaissance Report for M7.2 Nippes, Haiti earthquake released
