Early. Efficient. Impactful.

Through our network of regional nodes and the use of the latest assessment technologies within standardized data collection protocols, StEER is able to respond swiftly after major events in a coordinated fashion, making its data available in near-real time and issuing impactful analyses to inform ongoing response and recovery from major disasters.

Since its founding in 2018, StEER has responded to over a dozen Events, including:

  • Earthquakes

  • Tsunamis

  • Hurricanes

  • Other Windstorms

involving individuals from nearly three dozen different universities/organizations worldwide, generating over a dozen published reports. Interact with the map to the left to explore the details of our responses to each of these events.

Join us to continue StEER's mission to Build Resilience through Reconnaissance.
