StEER FAT-1 Deploys to Survey Hurricane Michael Impacts

From October 13-15, a Field Assessment Team drawn from regional experts will conduct assessments in and around Mexico Beach and Panama City in Florida to assess the impacts of Hurricane Matthew. The team is subdivided as follows:

  • Advance Scout Team: Daniel Smith (University of Florida/James Cook University), John Cleary (University of South Alabama)

  • Targeted D2D Assessment Team: Jean-Paul Pinelli (Florida Institute of Technology), David Roueche (Auburn University), Justin Marshall (Auburn University), Kurt Gurley (University of Florida), David Prevatt (University of Florida) with collaborators Bryan Wood
