StEER has released an Event Briefing for the Tonga Volcanic Eruption and Tsunami:

This briefing is more detailed than our typical product for a Level 1 event due to the unique characteristics of the tsunami genesis. The Key Lessons include the need for additional research on the potential tsunamigenic nature of volcanic eruptions to ensure timely warnings for similar future events given that current tsunami models used by early warning centers fail to capture meteotsunamis generated by atmospheric shock waves.
